The TESSERA project successfully concluded its 5th Consortium Meeting on March 11-12, 2026, in Thessaloniki, Greece, at the facilities of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH).

The 5th Consortium Meeting of TESSERA, held over two days, marked a key milestone as partners came together to assess the project’s overall progress, exchange insights on the main outcomes achieved so far, and coordinate the final activities and refinements ahead of the project’s completion.

Key discussions:

Following a warm welcome from the project’s coordinator, CERTH, the first day of the meeting focused on assessing the project’s current status and coordinating activities in preparation for its concluding phase. Consortium partners shared progress updates from all Work Packages, highlighting key developments in TESSERA’s operational use cases, dataset mapping and standardisation, regulatory compliance and quality assessment procedures, the governance and architecture of the European Security Data Space for Innovation (EU SDSI), dissemination & communication activities, and overall project coordination. The consortium also reviewed feedback from the TESSERA Second Online Workshop and discussed the finalisation of the participant questionnaire.

The second day focused on planning the project’s final activities and strengthening its long-term impact. Discussions addressed the conceptual architecture underpinning the development and interoperability of the EU SDSI national components, including mechanisms for secure data handling and exchange. Additional sessions covered dissemination and policy-related aspects, sustainability planning, and preparations for the TESSERA final event. The meeting concluded with a review of the project’s key performance indicators and an overview of the remaining activities towards the project’s finalisation.

As TESSERA enters its final phase, the consortium remains committed to consolidating the project’s results and laying the groundwork for the creation of trusted, reusable, and high-quality datasets for the EU SDSI.
