TESSERA 2nd Consortium Meeting in Madrid

The TESSERA Consortium concluded a highly productive two-day meeting on July 10-11, 2024, at the ESMIR premises in Madrid, Spain, where partners convened to discuss the project’s progress, refine strategies, and plan upcoming activities. This pivotal gathering brought together the consortium partners to align efforts towards the creation of datasets for the European Security Data Space for Innovation.

The meeting facilitated dynamic discussions on critical topics such as AI-based applications employed to meet the needs of law enforcement operational use casesmapping of the dataset landscape on the security domain, dataset quality assessment, and compliance with regulations. Partners also engaged in collaborative sessions to address technical and architectural requirements for the data-related national components, ensuring a robust foundation for the project’s objectives.

Acknowledging the collective contributions of all participants, the meeting emphasised the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in achieving the project’s goals. Special attention was given to ensuring that the datasets and methodologies align with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.

The TESSERA Consortium remains committed to advancing the preparatory work needed to identify the conditions and requirements for the creation of high-quality large-scale trusted and shareable datasets supporting the European Security Data Space for Innovation.
