On 19–20 May 2025, TESSERA had the pleasure of participating in the Final Event of the TRACY Project, held at the Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens. The event brought together a vibrant community of security researchers, practitioners, and policy stakeholders to celebrate TRACY’s achievements and foster collaboration across related initiatives.
The workshop presented the RDE’s architecture, tools for co-creation and risk assessment, and its potential to advance security research in the European Union. Discussions and presentations highlighted key themes such as sustainability, legal frameworks, and cross-project collaboration, underlining both the project’s achievements and its lasting impact.
TESSERA contributed to the workshop with a dedicated presentation, outlining the project’s progress and strategic focus on the development of high-quality, large-scale, trusted datasets. These datasets are conceived as a foundational element for the envisioned EU Security Data Space for Innovation, supporting the training and validation of AI solutions for law enforcement, while rigorously adhering to privacy, legal, and ethical standards.
By participating in the event, TESSERA engaged in broader discussions on data governance in security research, promoted knowledge exchange, and strengthened synergies across related initiatives. This contribution reflects TESSERA’s commitment to advancing European capabilities in secure, ethical, and innovative data-driven solutions for law enforcement and security stakeholders.
