The TESSERA project successfully concluded its 3rd Consortium Meeting, on January 22-23, 2025, in Barcelona, Spain at the NTT DATA Europe & Latam premises!
The two-day meeting provided an opportunity for partners to review the project’s progress, address technical and strategic challenges, and outline the next steps towards the definition of requirements for the creation of datasets for the European Security Data Space for Innovation (EU SDSI).
The meeting facilitated in-depth discussions, including the evaluation of security-oriented datasets, compliance with regulatory standards, and AI-driven data assessment tools. Particular focus was given to operational use cases, interoperability between the EU SDSI national components, and the role of AI in ensuring data integrity and quality assessment.
An essential part of the agenda was the preparation of the TESSERA Mid-Term Progress Report, which will serve as a key milestone in evaluating the project’s advancements and aligning future activities with its objectives. Additionally, consortium members laid the groundwork for the TESSERA Mid-Term Technical Workshop, aimed at fostering engagement with stakeholders and sharing insights on the project’s findings and impact.
The meeting underscored the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in developing high-quality, high-quantity, trusted, and shareable datasets. With contributions from all consortium partners, including CERTH, NTTDES, UMH, KEMEA, ESMIR, LIF, and HPOL the consortium continues to work towards establishing a robust and interoperable security data ecosystem.
As TESSERA progresses, the consortium remains dedicated to enhancing data security, ensuring compliance with European regulations, and engaging with stakeholders to maximise the project’s impact. Further updates on upcoming activities, including the technical workshop, will follow in the upcoming months.
